Vishal Garg, the founder of better.com, decided to return to work after formal apologies and taking considerable time off from his duties to reportedly give serious thought to his leadership and seek professional executive coaching.
He was in the headlines for his brutal manner towards employees by firing more than 900 employees at a glance through a zoom call.
In December 2021, following the infamous layoff, better.com witnessed a spate of resignations even from the top management level. It's gone viral when the company's VP, Marketing head, and PR head had resigned following the incident. At the time the firm was planning to go public post a merger.
